The price of your electricity is calculated in Texas by adding the charges from your utility (Transmission and Distribution Utility) and the base charges and fees from your retail electricity provider (like Rhythm).
If for any reason you aren’t satisfied with your current electricity provider or Texas energy plan, switching is easy. Some plans require a fee to switch, if your current contract isn’t complete, but by law there will be no interruption in your service.
