Because Victoria, like large parts of Texas, has a deregulated energy market, your electricity will be generated and transmitted by a utility that is assigned based on your area, but you must choose a retail energy provider (REP). For Victoria residents, we offer fixed, variable, time-of-use, and month-to-month plans, all of which are powered by green energy. Many of our plans come in 12, 24, or 36 month term lengths. Some, like our month-to-month plan, do not require a long-term contract.

If thousands of happy customers are any indication, then you’re going to love Rhythm Energy. But just to make sure that you do, we offer a 30 day risk-free trial period. If you break your contract after the first 30 days, we will charge an early termination fee of $10-20 for each whole month remaining in your contract, depending on the plan selected.

The rate you pay depends on where you live, determined by how much it costs to produce electricity, delivery fees from your utility, and the energy market. We offer fixed rate plans that bill you the same monthly rate for 12, 24, or 36 months, as well as variable rate plans that change monthly based on the wholesale cost of energy.

Some of our plans do require a deposit, which can be paid online during plan sign-up or by calling 1-888-7RHYTHM. The deposit must be satisfied before an enrollment can be confirmed or electricity service started. Deposits will be fully reimbursed after 12 consecutive on-time payments, with interest at the rate approved by the Public Utility Commission of Texas. Based on their credit profile, some customers may qualify for the Deposit Alternative Program.
